Information Operations Assessment Workshop (IOAW)
SCOPE: The IOAW is designed to provide a detailed examination of the assessment process in a collaborative workshop
format, conducted in one-day, to provide maximum flexibility to requesting organizations. This workshop is delivered in
three modules, using individual or small group practical exercises to obtain desired results. Through modules one and two
participants should gain a better understanding of the IO assessment process by developing input to an IO assessment
framework. The available third module exercises the evaluation and recommendation elements of the Assessment.
Note: AIOPC completion is preferred to complete the third module as it based on the culminating AIOPC scenario data set.

FORMATS: MTT if in conjunction with another of our MTTs taught by the same instructors; and Virtual Training Team (VTT)

CAPACITY: MTT: Min 6; Max 12, VTT: Min 6, Max 30. Note: Module 3 is not available in VTT format.
PREREQUISITES: The IOAW is open to all members of DoD and supporting contractors who meet these prerequisites:
a. Uniformed military personnel in grade E-6 or above, DoD civilians GS/GG-9 or above, and contractors in support of DoD.
b. U.S. Citizen.
c. Applicants must be currently or projected to perform or assist with IO planning.
d. Applicants must have completed service-related IO training to attend this course. The following training suffices for this
requirement: AIOPC/IOCAP, IOQC, TIOPC, JIOPC, IOIC (Air Force Training), MOPC or SOPC (Marine CORPS), IO 101 CBT,
Intro to IO, NIOPC.
