Information Operations Integration Course - Military Information Support Operations (IIC-MISO)

SCOPE:  Students are introduced to Military Information Support Operations (MISO) phases concepts, fundamentals,
doctrine and policy within the Department of Defense with a focus on MISO Integration, with other information Related
Capabilities (IRC), into Information Operations (IO) planning.  IIC-MISO lesson plans build on each other leading to
completing an IO-input worksheet showing MISO integration.  Lesson plans focus on IO/MISO overview; the MISO
assessments; and are supported by multiple practical exercises and student activities where students ntegrate MISO
capabilities into IO planning.  The course culminates with a performance-based final exam. 

DURATION:  40 hours (1 week)

FORMATS:  Resident, MTT, or VTT if travel conditions prevent an MTT

CAPACITY:  Min 12; Max 48

PREREQUISITES:  The ICC-MISO is open to all members of DoD and supporting contractors who meet these prerequisites:

a.  Uniformed military personnel in grade E-6 or above, DoD civilians GS/GG-9 or above, and contractors in support of DoD.

b.  U.S. Citizen.

c.  Current U.S. SECRET clearance

d.  Applicants must be currently or projected to perform or assist with IO planning.

e.  Applicants must have completed service-related IO training to attend this course.  The following training suffice for this
requirement:  AIOPC/IOCAP, IOFC, IOQC, TIOPC, IOIC (Air Force Training), MOPC or SOPC (Marine CORPS), IO 101
CBT, Intro to IO, NIOPC.
