Fort Belvoir Gate Schedule: Gate Schedule
Fort Belvoir has no requirement for DoD decals/vehicle registration. Holders of DoD-issued ID cards will be able to enter post at any open gate. Vehicle owners will not be required to remove current decals. Once they expire, they should be removed.

Driving Directions to Fort Belvoir
From Washington DC (I-95 South)
- Traveling south on I-95, take exit 166A for VA 286 S, Fairfax Co Pkwy/Newington/Ft Belvoir.
- Take the Fairfax County Parkway till it ends at U.S. 1 (Richmond Highway).
- Turn left.
- Continue on U.S.1 to the designated visitor's gate
From Richmond (I-95 North)
- Traveling north on I-95, take exit 161 for U.S. 1 N/Richmond Hwy, Ft Belvoir/Mt Vernon.
- You will travel five miles to Fort Belvoir.
- Continue through the light at the Fairfax County Parkway (VA 286) to the visitor's gate
From the U.S. 1 - Fairfax County Parkway (VA 286): Lieber Gate proceed to the second traffic light and turn left at the light; for Tulley Gate turn right at the first light.
